Great local pub. Good selection of drinks and food. Not the cheapest place to imbibe a couple but it’s a swanky locale so you kind of expect that. If you are lucky enough try and grab a table in sun drenched spot outside. Pooch friendly and a great spot for people watching.
Not a bad venue, we sat downstairs and made use of the outdoor seating on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Wasn't overly busy, and service was quick and friendly.nnPrices just seemed a bit high, even considering the area; two schooners and a soda water set us back $29.
Food was tasty, but cold and took almost an hour to arrive. Drinks also took about 20 mins to get to us. Had to constantly remind servers of our order. When the food finally did come, we were not given napkins or cutlery, and had to chase staff down for it. Waitress said she would get me a free beer, to apologise, I did not receive this beer. Very overpriced for the level of service, food was good, but service was slow and an utter let down.
Such a great venue! I’ve had two events here and they have been perfect. Everyone commented on how amazing the staff were and how delicious the food was. They’re so accommodating and made both events so memorable. Highly recommend this venue!
I may have just gone at the wrong time or day, but found the staff particularly unbothered, and really didn’t care about customer experience or satisfaction. It felt like customers are a bother by visiting the place. It could just be the tone and their delivery of the message, coupled with their demeanour. Examples include, no effort in trying to find tables for customers, no single effort made, or even to work with the customer to find a solution so that the customer feels welcome and that their contribution to their business is at the very least welcome. Food was delayed, had to wait for over 30 minutes. I’ll give it a pass. Not that it means anything to them anyway, they do have enough business from returning customers, which explains why first time customers are the bottom of their priority, if at all on the priority list.
