Berat Full Day Tour - Ilir was the best guide! He was a lot of fun, super knowledgable and had excellent explanations of history and other random topics. We were lucky enough to be the only ones on a quiet Monday for the day tour to Berat which helped in making it a very personal and tailored experience. He made sure we had a very authentic experience especially with meeting the lovely locals and tasting home-cooked Albanian cuisine (including homebrewed raki - everywhere!). Although some things were closed (e.g. for renovations) which were out of our control, Ilir really made the effort to make alternative arrangements (he is very, very well connected with the locals) to suit our wants and really made the day easy and enjoyable and added to our newfound love of Albania. Thanks for the laughs, Ilir! :)
