This elite university is the best in Ballkan countries, offering both theoretical and practical profesional formations that all newly graduated student needs. I have done a great choise to chose to be part of this institucion, though the hard work and financial investment was absolutely worth it ! Great staff with high professionalism contributed for years in row that me personally got formed and challenged in positive matters as a young profesionist & a human being with values. Keep in mind - potencial new students wanting to be enrolled here : It is hard, take it seriously!!!

terrible service. the staff seems nice and helpful before you're admitted but the moment you are a student they either ignore you or are flat out disrespectful. the classrooms are flat and extremely cramped so if you sit in the back you wont be able to see ANYTHING. there are at least 120 students in one classroom during lesson and it often gets hard to breathe(the first lesson I ever took me and a lot of other students had to STAND in our feet for hours because they didnt have enough chairs in the classroom). the lesson arrangements are awful, you will usually have 4 hours of lesson of one single subject which is exhausting and boring and 2 or 4 other hours of lesson of another subject. during covid19 it got even worse. the staff wouldnt communicate the method of the exams even though the first exam of the season was 4 days away. they penalize the students and fail them just because of technical difficulties. if you have a problem you are on your own as the secretary NEVER responds to phone calls and may reply to your email after 6 days if you are lucky(or not respond at all). They keep coming up with new rules that make the students lives even more miserable than they already are and set them up for failure. This university has absolutely no respect for their students/clients even though it is one of the priciest in the country and offers less than bare minimum. I wish I never chose to study here.

The University, with a catholic inspiration, operates in Albania as a developing factor, respecting the local religions’ traditions in an international perspective. The academic activities are implemented in collaboration with very important Italian Universities (Bari University, Rome University “Tor Vergata”, Milan University, Bologna University, Palermo University, Milan Catholic University) participating with their educational heredity for the growth of this University in Albania. Today, about 1945 students attend in Tirana and Elbasan University’s structures, three different faculties with 20 study programs, where there are about 450 Italian and 100 Albanian professors teaching. This kind of participation, of the Italian culture, makes this university experience very particular, which is carried out mainly in Italian language. The Diploma is recognized by the partner Italian Universities, and is assigned together with them, by making possible that, for the first time, to the Albanian high education has been given an European dimension. 475 students have been graduated by year 2010. The Catholic University “OLGC” is a non-government, non-profit High Education institution of teaching and scientific nature, established by the Foundation “OLGC”, a structure of the Congregation “Sons of Immaculate Conception” in Rome and recognized by the Holy See. The Congregation is distinguished in Italy and abroad, for its tradition in Health Care, and more specifically in Medicine, developing its activities in many other countries. The Catholic University “OLGC” has been established in 2004 and its one the first initiatives of the private universities’ education in our country. It was founded in order to enable the education in Albania, for professionals with high European standards, competent to work in Albania, in Europe and in the whole world, ready to facee all the major challenges of our country’s European Integration. The University is a integral part of the University Health Complex of the same name, which will be closely linked with the Albanian Health System. This Complex is set to be en excellence point in Health Care Service, in High Education and Scientific Research in Albania.

For the students there are no practice areas That means is everything learned theoretically. To much money for the local community even thought the purpose of this university on the past was beneficial. Staff no manners they treat you like you are some garbage not like you are paying a lot of money. Teachers are not locals they come from outside. That makes lessons very compressed you must study a 600 page book for 3 weeks and give it as an exam after 3 months.
